Hello world!
This is my blog. I am in third grade. Before I tell you about other stuff, do you want to know why the people on the top of the page are looking up? This picture was taken of the whole third grade at my school on Space Day. Two men were on the school roof dropping eggs in packages. The quest was to make a package for the egg so it would not break. We had another project that day. It was on space objects. Everybody had to write about an object in space. I wrote about the planet Mercury. By the way, my egg didn’t break!
In my blog I want to write about stuff that third graders do and what we think about, but now my Mom and Dad are making me go to bed.

Hi! I look forward to hearing the reports from a third grader. I’m one of you mom’s blogging friends and I have 2 boys too so I think this will be very interesting. My son hates bed time too
Hi there, Mr. Third Grader! You won’t recognize my blog name, Alto2, but you certainly know who I am. Mom will tell you. I look forward to reading what you have to say.
Keep writing! Your teacher would be very proud of you.
Hello! That looks like a very fun day at school. I’m glad your egg survived. Did you eat it for dinner afterward?
I like your blog!
Your mom’s friend,
Marcia
I like the pictures at the top of your blog. I work with students in elementary school, so I always like to hear what 3rd graders are thinking!
I’m another one of your mom’s blog friends. So when you won super pickle, did you get an actual pickle?
I just wanted to let you know that your egg-dropping experiment is something grown-ups do too. About a year ago, I had a work meeting where everyone in the room had to divide into teams and build packages that would let eggs drop safely to the ground. It’s something called a “motivational exercise”. (Your parents can tell you more about those.) For now, you should be happy to know that more than one team, mine included, failed at least once in making a safe egg package. Since your egg didn’t break, you’re already way ahead of a bunch of middle-aged insurance executives. (Your parents can tell you more about those, too, but it will probably put you to sleep.)
Good luck with the blog!
